Photograph of the cross on a hill overlooking, from the northeast, the adobe ranch at Camulos which is said to have been the home of Ramona, made famous in the book of the same name by Helen Hunt Jackson. Brush dots the hill on which the cross stands at left. The ranch and an orchard are visible in the distance at right. The valley floor and mountain ranges beyond are in the background.
