On Reverse: (LA8) SANTA MONICA, Calif., Aug. 19 -- PRESIDENT KENNEDY ON THE BEACH -- President kennedy, who is visiting with his sister and brother-in-law Mr. and Mrs. Peter Lawford, strolls across the beach from their home (shown in rear) and shakes hands with bathers on the beach. The president went for a swim in the ocean and when he left the water he was almost mobbed by both men and women who waded in, some with clothes on, to greet him.
