Photograph caption reads: "Unlike Humpty Dumpty, these pieces will be put back together again and letters and cards will be sent on to their destinations with letters from the post office explaining their condition. Mail, in two bags, was recovered by police who arrested a suspect on narcotic charges. Left to right are postal inspectors Leonard W. Smith and Nelson E. Poe, and North Hollywood Postmaster Everett Carpenter". Photograph dated: Dec. 14, 1955.
