Description: Mae Pryce Brooks sitting at a table inside her bookstore at N. McCadden Place in Hollywood. Called the Boys' and Girls' Bookshop, the store was opened by Ms. Brooks with the intent to provide parents and children a nice space in which to look at and purchase books. As seen here, the interior design welcomes children and encourages a love of books and reading. Photo dated: July 9, 1930.
