Description
A photograph of an architectural model of Kimberly and Wilbur Halls. Accompanying the photograph is this description: "Model of a new building now rising on the Scripps College campus shows the two-story Mary Kimberly Dormitory, left, and the one-story Wilbur Hall, right foreground. The two sections were named for Mrs. Mary Kimberly Shirk and Mr. and Mrs. Van Rensselaer G. Wilbur, respectively. Mrs. Shrk, Vice Preisdent of the Board of Trustees, served as Acting President from 1942 to 1944. Mr. Wilbur has been a Trustee since 1937, and is Chairman of the Committee on Investments." Crop marks appear in the margins.
