Description
Shown in circa 1996 is a part of the Sacramento skyline. Along with a host of new state government buildings, city developers helped to build new office spaces for a growing downtown workforce as well as for cultural needs. The Renaissance Tower, standing at 28 stories tall was built in 1989. Older buildings in the downtown area underwent extensive renovations, as well as the city library.
