Photograph caption dated February 13, 1964 reads, "Bud Fisher says the Yukon has everything except push buttons." Sponsored by the Yukon Tourist Department, Fisher visited Los Angeles and 25 other U.S. cities to promote tourism in that territory. While on his tour, Fisher claimed that California was a push-button world due to the ubiquitous presence of the devices used to do such things as summon elevators and secretaries.
