Some of the identifiable buildings are: (on left) Wellington Apartments; (at the end of the photo) Fine Arts Building, located at 811 W. 7th St. housing the Signal Oil Company, as indicated by a vertical sign. To the right of the Fine Arts building is Barker Bros. building, built in 1925 and designed by Curlett and Beelman in Renaissance Revival style, it is located at 818 W. 7th Street, and also on the right, Zenda Ballroom, boasting to have the largest downtown dance floor, is located at 936 W. 7th Street. Entrance fees were .40 cents for ladies, and .60 cents for gentlemen during the depression.
