Description
Photograph of two Yuma Indian women sitting as they work in front of a native dwelling, ca.1900. They are probably preparing food since pots, pans, and other cooking implements sit on the ground nearby. Two dogs lay on the ground beside them. The small stick thatched dwelling behind them has a large timber supporting the peaked roof and is open on one end. In the shadows of the dwelling are visible crates and a trunk.
