From the Bee caption: "The glow cast by the full moon over the Warner Mountains in Modoc County was chilly but the cattle grazing leisurely on a pasture beneath the snowclas, 9,000-foot peaks seem not to notice that the sundown temperature has dipped to near the freezing point. This view is from near Highway 299 west Alturas."
