Opening night of the Oakland Paramount Theatre. Film of opening night at one of the Bay Area's oldest and most beautiful movie theaters, the Paramount Theater in Oakland, California.
Letter in original container: "May 22, 1974 Mr. Stillman W. Robinson 1524 Central Ave. Alemeda, CA 94501 Dear Mr. Robinson: Thank you very much for generously allowing us the use of your film clip of the Paramount's 1931 opening. It must have been and exciting evening for everyone and we are glad to be able to share your experience of that evening. Please accept with our compliments 4 seats to the Oakland Symphony's Paramount performance of October 2, 1974. The program will feature Mahler's Fourth Symphony. The tickets will be mailed to you in September. We hope you enjoy it. Once again, our Thanks. Sincerely, Donald Cleary, Ticket Sales Manager bcc: Ellen Dietschy"
