The lagoon is shown at center, a tower rising from the water at its middle where several small row boats are docked. In the foreground, the tracks of a roller-coaster are visible. In the background the buildings of the city can be seen to either side of a canal that leads from the lagoon.
Legible signs include: "Venice Groceteria and Meat Market", "[...] the Wall Paper and Paint Man", "Del Mar", "Venice Sanitary Cash Market", "Welcome to Venice!! Venice Santa Monica News", "Rooms" and "Drugs".
