Marymount College, all female, was founded in 1933 in Los Angeles and later merged with St. Joseph College of Orange, and then with Loyola University to eventually form co-ed Loyola Marymount University in 1973. Marymount College was located at 10643 Sunset Boulevard in Westwood. Marymount High School is at that location today.
