About seven to eight ounces of seed sown per 4 x 25 foot bed, will produce 7500 3-0 seedlings; 6000 will be over 4" high ready for field planting and 1500 smaller for transplanting. The shaded beds in the rear are of fall sown White pine 1923. The pile of screens are cone trays from the seed house to keep birds out of fall sown beds
