Photograph caption dated April 24, 1959 reads "Charles Schanke, standing, social studies teacher at Madison Junior High School in North Hollywood, takes parents of his students back to their own school days as he conducts regular geography lesson for 40th annual Public Schools Week. Scene will be re-enacted in Valley starting Monday. Week was started by Masonic Lodges of California."
