Photograph caption dated September 14, 1956 reads, "Hot dogs, soft drinks and rides fill the evening with entertainment for the Valley Times Newspaperboy Organization. The ever-popular amusement pier in Ocean Park provides fun galore for energetic Valley boys. This paper sponsors many such excursions for its Newspaper Organization. At present the boys are all anticipating a visit to the gigantic Pomona Fair during Newspaperboy Day Sept. 16, 1956."; See image #00113972 for additional photo in this series.
