Guichen thanks Destouches for the new decoration (promotion) he has given him, and tells Destouches that he will testify in the interest of the Navy if the King requests it. The letter is [4] pages; a single folded leaf. Pages [2]-[3] are blank. Six ms. words are written on p. [4], including "j'mortalite" and "course".
