View of a mule car with passengers in Monrovia circa the 1880s. The mules are loaded on the platform as the car is ready to coast down the hill on Myrtle Avenue to the Santa Fe station. On the way back they will pull the cars. The car is sponsored by Cronenweit the Jeweler, Monrovia, Azusa.
