Description: The Lake Shrine appears here in this color postcard. Dedicated in 1950, the shrine includes the Gandhi World Peace Memorial, which encloses some of the Mahatma's ashes. To Mrs. Fraub McCollouch, 825 Louisiana, Lawrence, 12 Av. "Pacific Palisades - 8-29 Dear Minnie, Hope you are having good scrabbling. Went to Disney Land yesterday. Once is enough for me. Tomorrow is Sam's Birthday. We are planning a picnic dinner. M.C. R., Hello to the Girls" Postmark: August 29, 1963.
