Description
Photograph caption dated March 16, 1959 reads, "Lola Ocorr of Agura, sheep husbandry major at Pierce Junior College in Woodland Hills, puts theory she is learning into practice as she applies shears to reluctant sheep during annual event at college. Several high school agricultural students participated in shearing session in which 150 sheep were clipped during day. Average time for clipping is about three minutes for sheep for professionals. Students usually require 30 minutes."
