This photo of Iglesia Apostolica (also known as Apostolic Assembly of the Faith in Jesus Christ) located at 1000 S. Mesa Street was taken from along 10th Street. It shows a large white corner building with a dark roof. There are two entrances, one on either side of the church, with a large stained glass window between the eaves. The church has houses on either side of it. Verso on photograph states that this church was formerly known as St. Andrews Presbyterian Church from 1906 to 1954, but it does not list when it acquired its current name. The Apostolic Assembly of the Faith in Christ Jesus (Apostolic Assembly) is the oldest Spanish-speaking Oneness Pentecostal denomination in the U.S. It is also the oldest primarily Hispanic denomination in the world and is also the eighth fastest growing Hispanic denomination. Photo dated: March 2006.
