Six children, one girl and five boys, look through debris of bombed out buildings in Berlín, El Salvador. Guerrillas occupied the town for four days before the military hit the town with rockets from airplanes. Arturo Rivera y Damas, the San Salvador acting bishop at the time, denounced the attack a few days after the destruction. A church count showed more than 300 people (mostly civilians, and few Salvadoran soldiers and rebels) died during that week of February.
