Description
Photograph caption dated September 5, 1961 reads, "Mrs. Chris Austad looks west along Victory boulevard from the front yard of the last undedicated property between Sepulveda boulevard and Woodman avenue. Picture at right shows how the street widens again past the property Mrs. Austad leases from its owner. Elected officials and civic leaders have called the refusal to dedicated property for street improvements 'one of the Valley's greatest problems.'"; See image #00114385 for additional photo in this series.
