Description
Photograph of workers spreading asphalt on an unidentified street, [s.d.]. Extending from the right foreground into the left background, trucks and workers are evenly spaced, applying asphalt to the curbside. At center, a group of men work with rakes to spread the asphalt, the foremost man obscured in a cloud emanating from the hot material. Farther in, a second pile of steaming asphalt sits between two trucks. Houses and palm trees are visible in the background, a Victorian-style home at right.
