Bound in textured black material. The title, "Molokai," is embossed in the center of the cover in gold lettering. The number "53" is affixed to the top of spine with glue. Photos are of Jack and Charmian's trip to the leper colony at Molokai.
Light wear on cover's surface, more moderate wear at edges and on back cover. Top of spine has small tears, one through the volume number 53. There appears to have been an issue with the camera film in these photos, many have discoloration or poor exposure, and on page 91 Charmian London has written, "Our films go bad." Starting with image #06899, camera counter malfunctions, and previous cataloger chose to continue numbering #06899-2, #06899-3, etc.
