Description
Photographic portrait of Mrs. A.S.C. Forbes, California, [s.d.]. Mrs. Forbes, a historical writer and the originator of the memorial ceremonies for sailors in Los Angeles, can be seen in bust looking straight ahead. She can be seen wearing what appears to be a button-down sweater decorated with tassels and an open-necked shirt. Her hair is short and light-colored. Although her face looks slightly older than middle-age, it is surprisingly free of wrinkles. Thin lips and a small, button nose are visible below large, owl-like eyes.
