Opening day of the MTA Orange Line at the North Hollywood Metro Red Line Park and Ride, located at 5350 Lankershim Blvd. From left to right: Zev Yaroslavsky, an unidentified Metro employee, and Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa pose for a picture in front of an orange banner that partially reads, "Metro Orange Line. It's fast, free". Zev Yaroslavsky (born December 21, 1948), is the Los Angeles County Supervisor for the Third District, elected on June 1994. Prior to that, he served on the Los Angeles City Council from 1975 to 1994. Mr. Yaroslavsky is also an MTA board member. Photo dated: October 29, 2005.
