Description
Two piece burgundy-red taffeta and corduroy dress. A: Bodice with corduroy panel center front with 18 1/2" punched brass/pink tinted buttons, mandarin collar, little puff at sleeve top, corduroy at cuff with 2 buttons & fan pleated taffeta trim, 3 vertical pleats each side of front panel, back princess seams, small fish tail pleat with corduroy accent, 17 1/2" center front, 15 1/2" shoulder, 24" sleeve, boning--4 front darts, 2 sides, 1 center back, waist strap inside B: Skirt with three wide bands of corduroy with 2 vertical pleats each side, plain taffeta beween bands, sewn to underskirt which goes to waist, has tiny pleats at hem and heavy cord hem edge on the front. On the back a very gathered waist with 4" heavy pleated ruffle above hem, overskirt drapes whole back to hem and small apron puff in front.
