Photograph of the exterior of the California State Reform (Industrial) School in Whittier, ca.1901. The four-story brick building has a round pointed cupola on one corner, a tall square clock tower with round turret on one of its corners. Over the main door is the name "State Reform School. A man is standing on the covered entry porch near a horsedrawn carriage standing in front of the school. A few plants are visible in the foreground.
