Photograph was edited for publication purposes The photo was taken from the 25th floor at Los Angeles City Hall. Looking east, dominating the photo is a large gasholder (gasometer) of the Los Angeles Gas Company. Platforms of the Los Angeles Union Station can be seen on the far left center. The Hollywood/Santa Ana Freeway, lower left, can be seen in the middle of the photo. Boyle Heights is in the background.
