Description
Photograph of an exterior view of three-story Federal-style German Hospital with a portico entrance and a balcony above the portico, Boyle Heights, [s.d.]. The facade of the house is symmetric. Along the roof of the building, four dormer windows can be seen. Along the face of the structure, twelve rectangular windows can be seen. Two arched windows are visible near the balcony on the second floor below an oculus. Seven additional windows can be seen along the side of the structure. Six columns, three on each side, support the portico. On the portico is a sign which reads: "German Hospital". Also on the portico are two wooden benches and two men sitting on the left bench. A chimney protrudes from the roof on the right rear end of the building. The lawn consists of mostly dirt and a few areas of grass. Several small trees (or bush?) are planted around the house. A few tread marks run across the yard.
