Description
Black and white lantern slide showing a group of boys walking along a road smiling and saluting, pretending to be soldiers. All the boys are smartly dressed, and may come from the same school or institution. One boy does wear a khaki uniform, and may be a young signaller or officers' boy attached to the King's African Rifles. This slide comes from a set on the activities of the King’s African Rifles battalions in Nyasaland. It was originally held by the Church of Scotland, and generated by J.W MacKay.
