This 1924 brochure is a memorial celebration of Woodrow Wilson, the 28th President of the United States. Memorial services were held for him in the Senate Chamber of the State Capitol in Sacramento, CA on February 6, 1924.
A Southern Democrat, Woodrow Wilson was President for two consecutive terms, from 1913-1917, and then from 1918-1921. He declared war on Germany in 1917, and then steered the country through the entirety of World War I.
President Wilson suffered from a series of illnesses and strokes throughout his life before he passed away in February, 1924.
