Description: Photograph caption reads, "A crowd of Armenian supporters cheers accused assassin Harry Sassounian as bus drives him away from the Civic Center. The group, protesting Turkish repression of Armenian and demanding justice for Sassounian, marched in the rain yesterday as Sassounian appeared in court to have his preliminary hearing postponed until May 5 for his lawyers to study the evidence. The 19-year old Armenian immigrant is suspected of killing Turkish Consul General Kemal Arikan Jan. 28 in Westwood." Photograph dated April 1, 1982.
