Most of the trunk is visibly bare except for a small branch stump near its center. The branches and foliage of the tree are all visible near its peak. In the background to the left, another pine tree is visible. Many more branches can be seen spread along the trunk of this tree. In the extreme foreground from the left to the right, a large mountain slope filled with various vegetation is visible. In the extreme background to the right, a dense cluster of pine trees can be seen.
