Description
Women workers sorting peaches at Del Monte Cannery, San Jose. The California Packing Company produced a variety of products under the Del Monte label at Plant #3 in San Jose. These women are sorting peach halves, discarding any that do not meet quality standards. The women wear uniforms, aprons, caps, and gloves, all supplied by the California Packing Corporation.
