The residence of Colonel Harrison Gray Otis, located at 2401 Wilshire Boulevard, sits at the center of the image. The two-story home, constructed in the Spanish Eclectic style of architecture, is bordered on all sides by vegetation, including two large palm trees at the curb. Three automobiles are parked in front of the house. The paved lanes of Wilshire fill the foreground, while the edges of a highrise building are visible in the background.
