Description
Mud Creek Canyon. Elevation of timberline 8,000 feet. Valley in the distance looking east is 4,000 feet elevation. The water tenders camp was at the mouth of the canyon where it meets the plain. Head of glacier 12,000 feet to floor of valley in east 4,000 feet a decent of 8,000 feet in about 8 miles.
