Photograph of a view of the Castle Rock formation with the Mile-Long Pier visible in the background, 1899-1911. A collection of jagged rocks is at center. They are sitting on the sandy beach and small waves are crashing against them at right. Tall mountains can be seen in the distance at left, while the pier is visible in the background at right. The pier was built by Collis Huntington in 1892.
