Description
Photograph caption dated June 11, 1959 reads, "Fun is the word for it at J. C. Penney's Reseda Store this week. The occasion is the store's 'Mad Hatter's Ball' which began yesterday and continues through today. All the employes [sic] are in festive mood and apparel, and many new ideas in fashionable millinery are represented among the headpieces. The event is 'Open House' and all customers are invited. Everyone has a chance to vote for the most original and zaniest hat. Left to right, above, Betty Frost, Earl Meredith, Betty Rich; below, Dorothy Guralnik, Bill Morgan and Bob Jenks, manager."
