73 letters (transcriptions) mostly from General Gold Selleck Silliman to his wife Mary Noyes Silliman (née Fish), dating from 1776 April 2 to 1780 April 24. Also included are letters to/from his father-in-law Reverend Joseph Fish, Governor of New Jersey William Franklin, General of the Hessian Army Wilhelm von Knyphausen, and Governor of Connecticut Jonathan Trumbull.
