Annotation translation: "Basel Mission. Fields: China, Borneo, Malabar and British Cameroon." Annotation: "Basler Missions-Gesellschaft Arbeitsfelder: China, Borneo, Malabar und Brit. Kamerun." Format information questionable. Note: Zur Datierung: Das Bild ist sicher vor 1911 entstanden, da die Kinder noch vorrevolutionäre Frisuren tragen. Die aufgedruckte Namensgebung "Brit. Kamerun" lässt aber darauf schliessen, dass die Postkarte erst nach dem ersten Weltkrieg gedruckt wurde. (MS 09.1998). Note translation: Dating: the photograph was made before 1911, since the children have pre-revlutionary hair-styles. The reference to "British Cameroon" indicates, however, that the postcard was printed after the first world war (MS 6/98).
