The World's Fair Rodeo Parade makes its way east, down K Street, in this May 1939 photograph. A stagecoach, piled with cowboys, skirts the south side of K Street. The street's edges are filled with spectators, including many children. Visible businesses include Auslender's Women's Clothing at 1000 K Street, Grebitus Jewelers at 1004 K Street, the Luggage Shop at 1008 K Street, Mason's Men's Shop at 1010 K Street, Herman Davis and Sons Optometry 1014 K Street, Green's Fur Store at 1016 K Street, Lavenson's Shoes at 1018 K Street, Noack-Harger Jewelers at 1022 K Street and the Hotel Sacramento at the corner of 10th and K Streets.
