Piles of wood and pipes sit to the right of center while a large warehouse stands behind them. The sign painted above the entryway to the warehouse reads "General Steamship Corp." while the top of the building reads "Berth 230 E-D City of Los Angeles". A second crane can be seen to the right with the words "Crescent Wharf & Warehouse Co." painted on the machine. In the background, smoke billows out of a smokestack while the water of the harbor can be seen with more wharfs in the distance.
