Mrs. Librada Traslavina, 43, her daughter Alicia, 11, son Arturo, 5, and family friend Mauro Baltherra, 45, were killed when they were struck by Edward L. Gannon's 70,000-pound truck at Los Palos street and East Olympic boulevard in East Los Angeles on November 14th. Gannon was arrested 6 hours after the accident and was eventually arraigned on four counts of manslaughter and one count of hit and run for leaving the scene without rendering aid or assistance.
