In 1958, Alpha Beta acquired Raisin's Market, a 13-store chain named for Phil Raisin. In September 2010, this retail area became known as the Santa Fe Springs Plaza Shopping Center.
Looking north over Raisin's Market, located at 13451 Telegraph Road at Gunn Avenue (right) in South Whittier, an unincorporated area of Los Angeles County. Smaller businesses are seen across Telegraph Avenue (foreground) and large housing tracts fill the background. Photograph dated January 30, 1955.
