Four African men are building a hut, using what are presumably bamboo poles of different lengths, are erected in a circle. One man is standing inside the construction. In the background: huts. Cf. photo no. 10656. -- Ernst Hermann Schnabel (1904-1953) was a missionary of the Herrnhuter Brüdergemeine and served in East Africa until the end of the 1930s. In 1934, he married Käthe Prellwitz in Kyimbila.
