Photograph caption dated January 1, 1957 reads "In full regalia, finally. At last Fraser is dressed and Ruth helps him adjust bagpipe into place. With kilt (skirt) in order and glengarry (hat) on just right, it looked as if Fraser would make parade on time after all. His father taught him to play pipes 30 years ago." Fraser and 10 others in his band played Scottish tunes on bagpipes in Pasadena's Rose Parade. Howard Fraser is a Burbank fireman.; See images #00146742 through #00146744 for all photos in this series.
