Description
The Joseph G. Eastland engine train with a locomotive pulling one car is seen from above, at Double Bow Knot. Built at the midpoint of the Mill Valley and Mt. Tamalpais Railway, the Double Bow Knot looped back and forth five times to gain elevation without forcing the grade to be steeper than five percent.
