She sits cross-legged on the ground with her hands on a stone grinding corn on another flat stone. She grins broadly at the camera. At left are two baskets, one tall, the other shallow. At right is a "Kathak", a large conical basket. Wild grass grows behind her. In the background is the canyon wall (blurred), cast in shadow.
